Goddess of knowledge, music, art, speech, wisdom, and learning. She is a part of the trinity (Tridevi) of Saraswati, Lakshmi, and Parvati. Sarasvati, Hindu goddess of learning and the arts, especially music. Sarasvati is worshipped at the advent of spring. She is also invoked perennially and at examination times by students and by artists and performers of all kinds.
